3.  SCREAMO

Dua nama tersebut di dapatkan saat mereka perform di Gedung Pemuda Ambarawa. Akhirnya mereka sepakat bergabung untuk membangun sebuah band yang beraliran reggae, karena menurut mereka musik reggae musik yang asik, musik yang damai. Seiring dengan sejalanya FREE OUT bergabunglah dobleh. Dengan formasi yang cukup solid FREE OUT sering sekali perform di Salatiga, pada saat acara Car Free Day, downy yang dulunya juga mempunyai band reggae terkesan dengan penampilan FREE OUT . tanpa menunggu lama downy menawarkan diri untuk bergabung dengan FREE OUT. Di dalam band ini kita masih mebutuhkan seseorang yang mampu memainkan perkusi dan Downy pun mengajak temanya yang bernama Kokow untuk bergabung dengan FREE OUT. HAM adalah sebuah band asal Semarang yang berdiri pada tanggal 2 April 2002 ini beranggotakan Rahmad Ramdhani (vocal), Shandy Sejati (guitar), Angga Kurniawan (bass), Lembah Budi Setyo (guitar), dan Adi Mustafirin (drum).  HAM mempunyai kepanjangan Hak Asasi Manusia, karena lagu-lagu HAM yang bertemakan sosial menceritakan kehidupan sehari-hari ini berhasil membuat warna musik di blantika musik Indonesia ini menjadi lebih beda dan berani.

Ada angin, HAM, publoik mulai memperhatikan musik HAM, menyadari hal tersebut merupakan peluang yang baik, mereka mulai membenahi segala bidang yang dianggap penting dalam berolah musik.

BAND BIOGRAPHY

Girls Got Rhythm terbentuk pada September 2008 di kota Semarang dengan nama Seven Miles To Go. Dengan formasi awal Lalita di vocal, Ivan di gitar, Awank di drum dan Vian mengisi bagian Bass mereka mengusung genre Pop Punk. Mereka banyak memainkan lagu-lagu dari The Starting Line dan juga mulai menulis lagu-lagu mereka sendiri. Mencoba peruntungan mereka memulai dari gig-gig yang ketika itu banyak diadakan untuk mengakomodasi band-band indie yang banyak menjamur.

Di awal tahun 2009, Danar bergabung untuk mengisi lead gitar di Seven Miles To Go dan pada akhirnya mereka memutuskan untuk mengganti nama menjadi Girls Got Rhythm yang secara tidak sengaja didapat saat Ivan membaca artikel di majalah Rolling Stone yang mengulas habis band AC/DC.

Setelah bergabungnya Danar, mereka merekam 2 single mereka berjudul “One Day Left To Say Goodbye” dan “I Sing You Another Fish Story” yang mereka rekam di sebuah home studio kecil milik teman mereka di Kendal. Berbekal 2 single tersebut mereka berhasil mencuri perhatian, terbukti dengan lolosnya mereka di 10 besar regional Semarang di Kompetisi Unsigned Group Competition 2009 menyisihkan hampir 100 band di Semarang, walaupun akhirnya mereka tidak lolos menuju tahap nasional.

Setahun berselang, mereka merekam 1 single baru berjudul “Paint the Town Red” di BM Studio, dimana awal perkenalan mereka dengan seorang music director, Harry Cethot yang kelak menggarap mini album mereka. Sayangnya single ini adalah single terakhir yang di rekam bersama Lalita yang juga adik kandung dari Ivan, yang akhirnya resign karena beberapa alasan.

Berjalan berempat dengan Ivan sebagai vokalis sementara mereka mencari pengganti Lalita, mereka merekam 1 single berjudul Hitam Putih dengan versi akustik.

Dan kemudian mereka memulai menggarap mini album mereka di tahun 2011. Ditengah penggarapan mereka bertemu Ratri yang akhirnya bergabung dengan mereka sebagai vokalis. Dengan bergabungnya Ratri, ada beberapa materi yang akhirnya dirombak untuk menyesuaikan dengan karakter vokalnya. Perombakan yang ternyata berujung dengan hasil yang menurut mereka cukup memuaskan dan diluar perkiraan mereka.

Dan Mini album berisi 4 track yang berjudul “A Blessing in Disguise” yang mereka maknai sebagai berkah terselubung akhirnya selesai di akhir 2011. Rilisan ini mereka jadikan batu pijakan untuk melangkah lebih jauh lagi, dengan banyaknya apresiasi dan ekspektasi yang mereka dapatkan dari album ini, mereka berharap dapat mencuri lebih banyak perhatian dan music mereka lebih didengar serta membuktikan bahwa Semarang memiliki band yang berkualitas dan layak diperhitungkan.
