Who does not know the music group Girl's Generation or SNSD.
Girls' Generation is a group of South Korean female singers formed by SMEntertainment in 2007. They consist of nine members: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny,Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun.
Fans often refer to them as SNSD, an acronym for the group's name in Korean, "SoNyeo Shi Dae". The official fan club of Girls' Generation called S ♡ NE (소원) taken from the title track in their first album.
This group has released three studio albums and three mini albums in Korea, onestudio album in Japan and various singles. Their hits singles in 2009, "Gee" noposition. 1 on the charts in the music program KBS Music Bank for nine consecutive weeks, making it the record holder as the longest song in a position no. 1 these charts.[1] They also won various awards in 2009 and 2010, including Artist of the Year award(Daesang) at Seoul Music Awards, the Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards,and the Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards.
Girls' Generation debuted in the Japanese music scene in 2010 under the auspices ofNayutawave Records label, part of Universal Music, to release a Japanese version oftheir hits "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" and "Gee".

Following the success of Girl's Generation, a new music group of women began to appear. One is the T-ara formed by Core Contents Media in 2009. Starting from 5members they released their first song "Good Person" for the soundtrack of Koreandrama "Cinderella Man" in April 2009. In June 2009, Jiwon and Jiae resigned fromT-ara and then the core contents to add three people to their new members, namely Boram, and Soyeon Qri. Appearance of T-ara member is also no less compelling withthe music group of other women. They come up with an interesting stage costumes andenergetic dance that is supported. T-ara growing popularity rose after their song called 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' received an award from the Music Bank.
3. Wonder Girls
Wonder Girls is a South Korean female singing group. Their producer is a singer /songwriter Park Jin-Young, and under the management of JYP Entertainment. These five founding members of Wonder Girls selected through auditions. First made its debut early in 2007, they became popular since the autumn of that year thanks to the song "Tell Me."
Since then they've scored three number one hit singles, "Tell Me", "So Hot", and"Nobody", and won two Daesang (awarded "Best Artist") in 2008.
Wonder Girls was recorded as the South Korean female music group that successfully penetrate the U.S. market. A song called 'Nobody' theirs successfully perched on the Billboard charts Hot 100 in 2009. Own Wonder Girls debuted in 2007 and consists offive personnel, ie, Sun Ye, Ye Eun, So Hee, Yu Bin, and Hye Lim.

4. 2NE1
Formed in 2009, 2NE1 tried to take a slightly different genre of music with a band of other women. 2NE1's name stands for "New Evolution of the 21st Century / NewEvolution in the 21st Century". 2NE1 first appeared on the song "Lollipop", acommercial campaign with Big Bang for LG Telecom. Their first single "Fire" was released on May 6, 2009. To date, they have released two mini albums, and oneKorean album, To Anyone and one Japanese album "Collection". Group consisting ofPark Bom, Sandara Park, Lee Chaerin, and Gong Minji is trying to give a touch of hiphop.
Differences that ultimately deliver their songs, like 'Fire', 'I Do not Care', 'Try to FollowMe', and 'Go Away' at the top of the charts in South Korea. 2NE1 fans not only admirethe songs belong to his favorite music group, they were also inspired by the style of dress each unique member of 2NE1.
5. KaRa
Not a little band from South Korea that had great success in Japan. Female music group Kara is one of them. Even the music group consisting of 5 members was named as best new artist in Japan in 2010 by Oricon. They also received the New Artist Of The Year Award from the Japan Gold Disc Awards.
Kara is composed of Park Gyuri, Han Seung-yeon, Goo Hara, Jung Nicole, and KangJiyoung made its debut in March 2007. A song called 'Honey' Kara managed to deliveron the ladder of popularity.
